The Compasses Inn is located in the hamlet of Crundale in rural Canterbury - approximately 6-7 minutes from either the B2068 Stone Street (Lower Hardres) or the A28 (Godmersham). The routes below are straightforward but very rural! Stick to them and you'll be with us in no time.
FROM CANTERBURY
Take the B2068 (by the cricket ground) and follow for about 3 miles, turning RIGHT at sign for PETHAM & WALTHAM
1/2 way between Petham and Waltham, take the RIGHT FORK at a small triangular green with pillar box.
Follow this road for 1 mile, over a small crossroads, and we are a little further on - on the right side
FROM ASHFORD
Take the A28 towards Chilham and Canterbury, and turn right at the sign for Godmersham.
Follow the road under a bridge, around to the right and take the next turning on the LEFT (approx 500m)
Follow for approximately 1/2 mile and turn LEFT at sign for Crundale
Follow the road up the hill and, when you come into 'upper' Crundale, we are on the left
FROM CHARTHAM
Go down Mystole Lane (off the Downs, opposite Cockering Lane) and turn left into PENNY POT LANE
Follow for about 2-3 miles to a small crossroads and turn RIGHT
We are a little way along on the right
